A close, close friend of mine chose to express his anger at something I had said, by punching me square in the left knee, hitting my cluster of nerves there. I don't mind telling you that it brought tears to my eyes and halted everything for twenty minutes thereafter.
That was two weeks ago.
And it still hurts.
Occasionally, it's just stiff and sore. Other times it sends a single bolt of electric pain up my leg,
without warning. If I sit cross-legged, it hurts. If I sit on my left leg, with the knee bent, it hurts. If I massage it, it hurts.
This friend has apologized repeatedly. I'm not interested in beating him up about it. I know he would never even consider causing me damage that extensive.
It just fucking hurts. And I want to bitch about it to someone. And you're the fool who checks this fool log, so you get to hear about it.
